Everyone knows that beer and wine are the products of fungal fermentation. But there are so many more foods and beverages, from all over the world, produced by organisms of the Fifth Kingdom--fungi! They are delicious and good for you. This event will include an informative lecture with slide show and a gourmet cheese tasting. You’ll learn why those delectable gourmet artisan cheeses look and taste the way they do. Learn about Kombucha, Kefir and Yogurt as well. Conducted by renowned cheesemaking instructor and supplier Steve Shapson of thecheesemaker.com from Wisconsin. (You DID know that Wisconsin is the Dairy State, right?) "Blessed are the cheese makers!"

Note: this is a free event but RESERVATION REQUIRED AT THE BOX OFFICE...limited space for attendees.
