But did you know that many soil-dwelling fungi can also degrade toxic pollutants, accumulate heavy metals, and reduce the impacts of environmental disturbances? In this talk, join Peter for a tour of the underground world of mycorrhizal fungi and the various means by which they can be cultivated and applied in landscapes to reduce pollutant loads and increase environmental and human resilience.
